The Currents of Becoming
The sea is much colder
Than one who is not accustomed
Would consider
I’ve heard talk of the salty depths
Tasted the uniqueness of the ocean
And yet still it surprises me.
There is a distinct terrorful feeling
Of unabated water current
Pushing and pulling to and from land
It takes much might to fight after a certain distance.
The balance between ocean bond
And settled shores
Though the sand is mixing after each wave
Some stay longer
Until a grand enough wave crashes on the coast.
