The Imposter

There was a seven year old boy and his father. When the sun rose and it came time for the child to go to school, the father would bike with his son to school. The fathers work was past the school. At the end of the day the father would drive back and bike with son home. As they were riding there was not any other person around but an imposter. Someone claiming to be a teacher from the school. She had green skin with a black cloak and a peeling hat. The imposter was attempting to do something mischievous and began to follow the man and his son. As they biked down the road the imposter fell behind and began throwing these “CAN CAPS” that had the appearance of a bomb and they did explode when hitting the ground.

The son, since he usually rode slightly behind his father, perceived the imposter upon her throwing the “CAN CAPS”. With a vocalization from the son, both father and son evaded the initial attack. The imposter was yelling “How did that not work?!!” So in response the imposter reached in her cloak and pulled out a small sharp dagger to attempt to kill the pair.

The father wasn’t carrying a weapon and preffered to flee for the sake of his son. They ran into the woods. The son turned out his hand and manifested a massive circle of fire around them. The father was in awe. They climbed the oak tree that was at the center of the flaming circle. The son knocked on the tree and asked it to help us from the imposter. She was quite shocked at the display of power from this son.

The oak tree lifted it limps like a bat and swung at such speed that made the wind blow like a moment of air in tornado intenstiy. The gust came so hard that the sewer lid burst and water began blowing out violently. The tree picked up the imposter and threw her far away. The water was flooded everywhere and the tree carried the father and son to a high place.

They preceded to thank the tree for his kindness and they went on there way home on foot since they had lost their bikes in the flood of water. The father turned to son and said “Where did you get such power?” The son smiled but didn’t look his father in the eye right away. Then the son turned and said “Father, you should know that anything I am capable of, you are too. You said yourself when I was a child, anything is possible? Do you not stand by what you said?
The father was in awe of his son.
